Description
This painting was inspired by the conflicting emotions throughout this summer’s wildfire season. At the height of the threat to so many people and animals, it felt overwhelming and impossible to just paint something pretty.
So I created this abstract on a purely emotional basis, no plan, just feeling.
It is a heavily textured mixed media painting with charcoal and glassbeads for a visceral experience.
