The Matriarch – SOLD

This painting was inspired by Trulla, the Matriarch of our herd of Scottish Highland cattle.I was always amazed by how social they are and how they care for each other.

All of the Cows share child minding duties while one ” auntie” watches the bunch of kids. It takes a village to raise a child!
